Tuckamore Festival presents
2022 Season Highlights

Greetings from the most beautiful and eastern corner of Canada – St. Johns, NL!

The Tuckamore Festival is so delighted to be part of this year’s January in July festival. The program we have selected for this evening features four highlight performances from our 2022 season – our fullest festival ever with almost 40 events in 16 days.

We begin with the stellar Verona Quartet performing the first and third movements from Dvorak’s String Quartet in G major Op. 80.  Next is the final two movements of Franck’s masterpiece for violin and piano – the lyrical and triumphant Sonata performed by us, Duo Concertante.

The third selection is Faure’s beautiful and rarely heard Piano Quartet in G minor with Katharine Fong, Dov Schendlin, Vernon Regehr, and Timothy Steeves. And to close we chose a witty and delightful selection from Julie Nesrallah’s recital with pianist Robert Kortgaard –  the cabaret song Amor by William Bolcolm.

We hope you enjoy the Tuckamore Festival!
